Land and Zeezicht – Constandakis

Bosch Luys Kloof

Bosch Luys Kloof is situated 2 hours drive from Ladysmith through the Seweweekspoort pass.

Westacre Homes was approached to take on this very challenging logistical project and was given 3 months to complete the project in. Operating and constructing a project of this nature took meticulous planning and co-ordinating. The client wanted to ensure that the team undertaking this project were professionally managed, mindful of the Eco environment on the site and that the construction teams worked efficiently.

Land and Zeezicht – Carvalheiro

We engaged Westacre to build our house in Land-en-Zeezicht Private Residential Estate after researching the contractor and builders market in Somerset West.

Westacre were referred to us as one of three “Master Builders” in the Somerset West area, which a fantastic reputation of delivering on time and a final product of the highest quality. Westacre also carried the reputation of not being the cheapest, but I found this to not be terribly out of line when compared to the other two well respected builders we were referred to for comparison.

The value of the higher cost per square meter, was in the end well justified given that due to the impeccable and professional manner in which they conducted themselves throughout the engagement, we did not need to employ independent building oversight managers nor did we have to employ independent quantity surveyors to assist us, particularly given that we were doing this build whilst residing in Johannesburg.

Our house was built within the agreed time frame and in the main within the original budget, but more importantly, this was our second building project and we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and professional manner in which the entire management team involved in this project displayed during the build as well as after build support given the inevitable snags new builds bring with them.

We would certainly not hesitate in recommending Westacre to anyone wishing to use their services, they would most certainly be in our consideration were we to engage in future projects.

A luxurious retirement village consisting of 260 housing units, featuring a combination of freehold and life right homes including a clubhouse as well as a state-of-the-art frail care centre.

House van Heerden Land and Zeezicht

This meticulously designed family home located in one of the exclusive Westacre Group small gated villages is designed by Design Establishment. The clients wanted to ensure that their home was well insulated and Westacre Homes undertook this task by providing a first for the Western Cape and introduced and insulated a cell type raft footing to ensure the client needs were met.

This ensured both a well insulated floor designed with state of the art Chelle System foam cells which save the client both money and time. Westacre Homes is proud to be part of this bespoke home with high end finishes and will be completing the project within budget and on time.

The Somerset West Country Club additions and alterations was a project undertaken after Westacare Homes Pty LTD won the contract in later 2020.

A time where the challenges of COVID really stretched the team as a whole. Working on heritage building needs careful planning and professional supervision. A building that has brought the Somerset West Country Club members a building that has for filled all their needs.
